Maplestory

(The picture on the left is the Maplestory logo.)
Maplestory is a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) where players all around the world can play an can communicate with each other. For Maplestory there are 2 versions of it: the first is the Global version, where anyone in the world can play it; the second is the SEA (South-East Asia) version, where people using the SEA internet can play. Maplestory is very famous as it you can talk to strangers, compete with others, or play with them. In description, people playing Maplestory usually varies from the very young, about 4-6 years, to the retirement age, 65 and above. The main point about this game is that is like real life, and if you are not playing, people or your friends are always playing, and will not wait for you. If they were to wait, the game would be very boring to them. When you want to play Maplestory, you will have to download the game client from the webpage: http://www.maplesea.com/, and go to 'Game client download', and from there look for full game download. Follow the instructions there, and you can play immediately. Do not worry if you do not know how to play the game; they will teach you when you first play it. Throughout the year, you will have to download patches due to some events occuring such as Chinese New Year, or the Christmas season. Your character has many things that must be kept constant throughout during your mapling life, or if not, you will die and lose your EXP (experience) points, slowing down your level up rate. The main thing is your HP (health points). Once it reaches zero when a monster touches you or uses it skill, you will lose HP and die, thus losing EXP, unless you are a beginner. Other things you will see when you enter Maplestory is that your MP (mana points). They are important for using skills. When you use a skill, MP will be deducted from your total MP. Use MP potions to recover and start using the skills again. The things and EQ (equipment) that you need to buy require mesos, which can be gained after killing a monster and picking up what dropped. From there, you can slowly earn money to sustain your needs for your Mapling* life. Though Maplestory is fun, we must discipline ourselves and not play too much or if not it will affect our studies, unless you are a retiree, but even if you are a retiree, spend some time with your grandchildren or children, or go out for walks sometimes instead of Mapling the whole day.
P.S. *=The process of playing Maplestory.
